Go Cycling

There are many little lanes running around Hartland, making it great for a cycle ride, especially as there is very little traffic in the area. The Tarka Trail, a dedicated cycling and walking path following the old railway lines of North Devon, is to be found in Bideford. Cycles can be hired and delivered to Yapham for your use.

A small Dining Room that offers a very intimate dining experience which fits 26 covers. Chef Toni and Chef Daniel utilise a wide selection of high quality ingredients including foraging the country woodland.

Located in what was originally the stables, the Wreckers Retreat Bar serves locally sourced food and ales all year round. Recently refurbished and full of character, the bar features memorabilia charting the history of Hartland Quay, and details of some of the shipwrecks in the area over the centuries.


The Kings Arms

A traditional village pub in the centre of Hartland with a beautiful beer garden overlooking the woods including a play area for the little ones. It is dog and family friendly. Bar meals available including home-made burgers, stone-baked pizza, fish and chips and specials. All menu items are available to take out.
